Renee, Owner
Renee’s passion for the beauty industry really began as a young child intuitively knowing when others were needing, craving, or wanting an extra lift, attention, or care. It evolved into a career of 35 years in the beauty industry, cherishing many aspects: clients, coworkers, and eventually the design aspect of building the salon and spa now known as Rhenium. This company has become her youngest baby now that her most cherished gifts- her children, Jake and Abigail- have grown into beautiful, kind, and successful young adults.
When not in the salon connecting with guests and coworkers, you can find her designing her latest renovation at home on the Farmington River.
Kathy, Manager
Kathy is grateful to be a part of the Rhenium Salon & Spa team of creative, kind, and inspiring people!
When not at the shop, she is spending time with her four beautiful grandkids and dreaming of time at beaches or mountains!
Sophie, Coordinator & Certified Holistic Health Coach
Hey, I'm Sophie! I'm a Certified Holistic Health Coach, tarot reader, jewelry maker, and menu planner. When working with clients, together we take a look at ALL the aspects of their lives. We take a (w)holistic approach to create goals and help them get themselves to where they want to be. My job is to be relatable,
non-judgemental, and to meet clients where they are, not where I or anyone else wants them to be.
I can also be found behind the scenes of Rhenium helping with the flow. When I'm not at the salon, you can find me by the river, cuddling with my cats, or being creative in the kitchen.
Elicia, Stylist
Elicia is a "do what makes you happy" person with an avid love for helping others feel beautiful on the inside and out. She has been in the industry for over a decade traveling from South Dakota to Okinawa, to NY with a few stops in between doing what she loves. Elicia strives to make clients feel comfortable and provide them with a look that will suit their specific needs. Everyone is different!
Ali, Stylist
Hi, I’m Ali! I’ve been in the industry for 3 years now, helping my clients become the version of themselves they’ve always wanted to be. I love providing people with a space to escape their busy lives to take care of themselves. My overall goal is to send you off into the world, enjoying the person looking back at you in the mirror just a little bit more. When not behind the chair, I love exploring secondhand and coffee shops (huge Chai girl here), cozy video games, and going on hikes!

I believe that being a hairstylist is more than just hair. The fact that someone enjoys sitting in my chair, loves my work for as long as they have, and values me is one of the greatest feelings. Some of my clients have been with me for 10 years. I love growing with them and seeing their accomplishments. My clients become my family and the trust we have for each other creates a beautiful relationship.
Ashlyn, Stylist
Hello everyone! I’m Ashlyn. I’ve been doing hair since 2016. Growing up I always wanted to be a hairdresser, so it’s been amazing making this my career. I love connecting with my clients and providing them a comfortable space for them to feel their best. I want all my clients to be able to achieve their hair goals for them to feel the most confident. My passion is anything color and styling your hair.
When I’m not behind the chair I love spending time with my family, listening to music and being outside.

Hi, friend! I’m Katie: just your basic coffee fueled, netflix binging, dog/tiny human mom, & hair stylist of over a decade. I take great pride in my work and always strive for honesty and transparency; I’ll only recommend what you need & tell you what you don’t need. I want you to feel comfortable and confident when you’re in my chair that you are safe and in good hands. I’m always down to get silly and love to laugh with my guests. If you’re looking for a stylist that you can have fun with but also provide a luxury hair service and genuinely cares about your hair goals, look no further- I’m here for you, girl!!

Hi everyone! I'm taking the time to let you all know a little bit about me! I'm a Brooklyn born, Jersey girl who lived in South Florida for the past 11 years. I began my career back in Jersey where I learned from some of the best educators in the industry and about 5 years in, I relocated to Delray Beach, FL where I made a new home in a beautiful upscale salon in the heart of town. For almost 10 years I was one of their lead stylists specializing in color, cut, bridal, and extensions! I then took my talents to run my own business for a couple of years, and although it broke my heart to leave behind such a loyal and special clientele, it was important to me to raise my girls with my family in the northeast. So here I am in this wholesome New England town to give my 5 and 2 year old girls a better upbringing! Finding this salon came as organically as I could have ever imagined and has iced the cake for my transition into my dream come true! Looking forward to working with this welcoming staff, making new connections with you all, and bringing my artistry to Simsbury, CT!

Hey there! My name is Leslie! I've been a licensed esthetician since 2011. I love being an esthetician because empowering women through self care is so valuable to me.
I specialize in luxury anti-aging facials, facial and body waxing, and makeup artistry. Meeting the client where they are with their skin care goals, working together through verbal consultation and skin analysis, I am able to customize your facial based on your skin type and condition. Every treatment will allow you to decompress through massage that is incorporated into the service.
I am an Air Force Veteran. I have four children who are my world!! When I'm not at work I love being with my kids, and if I could be anywhere I'd be on a beach in Cape Cod relaxing with my kids!
Todd, Massage & Reiki
Pulling from experiences learned through yoga, Reiki, and finally massage school, Todd performs each massage with a unique approach that is customized to the client’s needs. Whether the issue is chronic tension, physical emotional buildup, or recovery from injury, Todd will work with you to best facilitate returning you to a place of comfort where your body can best heal itself.
Kendra, Massage & Reiki
Kendra joined the Rhenium team in November 2019. She is a licensed massage therapist and a trained reiki master. She is also certified in prenatal massage, as well as offers AromaTouch, guided meditation, and more!
Kendra uses an individualized and holistic approach to helping clients heal and Find Peace.

Katie Deming, Thai Body Work
Hey! My name is Katie! I have been a certified yoga teacher since 2013 and practicing Thai Body Work since 2017. I trained at Triple Gem School and have been loving it ever since!
Most of my time outside of TBW is spent teaching and taking yoga, or surrounding myself in nature!
Paige, Esthetician
Hi! I'm Paige! I've been a licensed esthetician since August 2023. As someone who's struggled with acne myself, I got into esthetics to empower people and help them feel amazing about their skin and themselves.
When I'm not in the treatment room, I like to sit down with a book or take my dog on a hike.
Ally, Eyelash Technician & Makeup Artist
Hi there! My name is Ally and I am a certified makeup artist and licensed eyelash technician. My love of makeup came to me in my 20s as a creative outlet that got me through some very tough times. I needed something that made me feel good and I watched one of my first ever makeup tutorials. As my passion grew, my aunt would buy me makeup and brushes every year for Christmas to support that creative spark! As I have gotten older, I decided that my 30s would be the time where I have a metamorphosis and pursue my passion professionally. What I love most about make up is that it truly is for everyone, and I love educating my clients on the best products and techniques so you can feel your best.
In August of 2023, I became a licensed eyelash technician at the international institute of cosmetology. I studied under the guidance of Master Lash Trainer Jessica Alnaqeeb-Gonzalez, where I have forged amazing relationships and if I am seeking additional training or guidance that I always have somewhere to turn to.
When I'm not here, you can find me running or playing princess/superheroes with my kids.
Anna, Assistant & Receptionist
Hi, I’m Anna! I am a future hairstylist, beginning my career here at Rhenium! I start at Paul Mitchell The School this fall and I am looking to build my experience and get into the flow of the salon. I love walking my dog, practicing to be a lash technician, and the beach!
Paige, Assistant
Hi there! I'm Paige! I'm a senior at Oliver Wolcott Technical School, soon to be graduated with my license! I'm very excited to start my hair journey at Rhenium and to be able to learn and grow here.
When I'm not at the salon, I'm usually with my sisters or travelling!
